These locations allow groups to use their grounds for wedding pictures. With most, you can just show up and hope for the best, while others require that you make arrangements in advance (Government House for example) or charge a fee (the privately held properties near the bottom). The City of St. John's has a list of Historic Sites that has contact info for most of these locations, so please call ahead for details.

Note that a commonly made mistake by couples planning their wedding is to schedule too many locations with too little time. Keep in mind that going from one location to another can eat up a whole lot of your day, even when travelling just around St. John's. Most of the locations above are within 5 minutes drive of each other, unless otherwise noted.
