Kim Goodyear.
Originally educated as a musician, Kim began to study Trumpet at Memorial University of Newfoundland and played various instruments in local jazz and concert bands. While searching for other outlets of artistic expression, she came to photography just before the renaissance of digital imaging was to transform the field. After experimenting with work in travel and landscapes, she found that most of her enjoyment came when photographing people and soon after was managing one of the first all-digital portrait studios in the province. Kim is a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association.
Jennifer Gillard.
Jennifer's educational background is in Visual Arts, an area in which she studied at The College of the North Atlantic in St. John's, Newfoundland. While there, she found her true passion was photography and chose to continue her education in that field. For over a decade, her professional work has been wide ranging, covering areas from landscapes to portraiture. Within recent years, she has specialized in working with artists in the thriving local music industry to produce photographs and designs for album covers and other publicity material.
Eileen St. John.
Eileen is the most recent photographer to have joined the NewfoundlandWedding.com team. Soon after completing her training in Photographic Studies, she joined a local portrait studio in her home province of Newfoundland. From the first time that she picked up a camera, her desire has been to photograph people and capture a natural personality. Although Eileen has shot many weddings over the last few years, she began working with Kim and Jennifer during the 2007 season while also starting the transition from film to digital.
